GREEDY MERCHANT
A wealthy merchant lived in a small village, known for his insatiable greed. One day, a wise old man appeared and said, "I'll give you a magical gem that doubles your wealth every day, but with one condition: you'll never be satisfied." The merchant agreed, and his wealth grew exponentially. However, with each passing day, his greed intensified, and so did his discontent. He became isolated, paranoid, and miserable. One day, the gem's magic wore off, and his wealth returned to its original state. The merchant realized that his greed had cost him true happiness and relationships. He vowed to live a simpler, more content life.
Moral: Greed can lead to loss and unhappiness, while contentment brings peace and fulfillment.
